Jermaine Sellers: Blown oppotunity?

OK, can someone officially ban the song “Get Here,” which has been on the “Idol” stage more times than a Coke cup, from the show. Especially after Jermaine Sellers’ shrieky performance. As the judges’ said, he was trying so hard with the song, he seemed to be screaming it and hitting notes that probably punctured my dog’s ears.

Randy thought the song was too old for him, seeing Jermaine more like Maxwell or Ne-Yo. Ellen felt he was giving a performance more than feeling the song. Most cutting was Simon, who told Jermaine “you’re probably blown your opportunity.”
