Jessica Sanchez is going for a grand slam with Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful" on "American Idol."

She gets that crack in the voice just right to start; is sitting on the stage floor. Pure vocal, just playing with the notes; her phrasing is perfect. And man, nails the high note in the chorus.

Heartfelt, but not fantastic for me like I hope for every time she steps out there, but well sung. Judges sit quietly for a second before they join in the applause.

"You're going to be number one, girl," says Steven Tyler.

"Captivated the whole audience," says Jennifer Lopez, adding she likes how she took her time with it.

Randy Jackson praises her "wisdom and talent as a singer... it's so pro, people who have been singing 50 years can't do this. Your talent level is unbelievable."
