Joshua Chavis has a bit too much energy for his own good on "American Idol." He says he's been told he sounds like Brad Paisley and Chris Daughtry. He adds he's "not leaving this stage without a ticket." Of course, he's not very good. He does Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours."

Jennifer Lopez tells him he's "sweet and cute," but that the "voice is not up to par with what we're doing this year." Ha, what a great way to say no. I hope it doesn't make him think maybe he'll be up to par if they decide to do something else another year.

He's crying afterward, screams at the cameraman to stop following him, and has what Ryan Seacrest calls a "hissy fit."

Stephanie Renae is next and the judges love her. She's got a good voice and another one off is to Hollywood!
