Joshua Ledet told he's a 'phenom, an angel from heaven' on 'American Idol'

Guest mentor Stevie Nicks tells him you need to look "effortless" on this song. He's got that special quaver in his voice, uses it effectively at the start as he strolls out.

Really like how he's shaping the chorus, we've all heard the song a million times but he brings something interesting to it. And man, can he sing, just pulls out the long notes. He's showing off so many different sides to his vocals on this one song; and he emotionally connects, wiping away tears at the end.

Judges are standing again, for the fourth time tonight. Randy Jackson, in almost a parody of his name-dropping self, starts his comments with, "it was Mariah's birthday yesterday, I was talking to her...."  Loved it, and calls his "transference of emotion" brilliant.
