Katy Perry to "The Simpsons" live episode

Kate Perry -- whose cleavage earned her a rare cancellation, so to speak, on "Sesame Street," -- will rise again: on "The Simpsons."

She'll appear on that live episode Dec. 5. She'll play Moe's girlfriend, and just to answer the obvious question (Moe has a girlfriend?) Everyone will be played by puppets, except for the low-cut one herself.

Meanwhile, check out Perry's non-singing performance on "Saturday Night Live:" on "Bronx Beat," where she wears a low-cut Elmo shirt, and helps flay the kiddies show that got her headlines last week.
