Kyra Sedgwick returning to TV on 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'
Former "The Closer" star Kyra Sedgwick will return to TV in a two-episode guest stint on Fox's police sitcom "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." Entertainment Weekly said Tuesday that Sedgwick, 48, will play NYPD Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch, a longtime rival of Emmy nominee Andre Braugher's precinct Capt. Ray Holt. The magazine said she'll debut in the second episode of season two, scheduled to air Oct. 5. Andy Samberg, as Det. Jake Peralta, heads the cast of the ensemble show.
