Lance Armstrong Oprah interview watched by 4.3 million
Numbers are in for OWN's Oprah Winfrey and Lance Armstrong encounter last night, and as predicted -- a flat-out record buster for the channel.
A total of 4.3 million watched, or to split hairs a bit further, 3.2 million watched the 9 p.m. telecast and 1.1 million the repeat that followed. Which adds up to ... 4.3 million.
Interesting to see how tonight's part 2 does — and whether there will be a halo effect on other programs going forward, as OWN fervently hopes.
