Larry DePrimo, the 'Shoe Cop,' on 'Today' show
Well this is nice: Larry DePrimo, the NYPD cop from Holbrook who spent $75 on a pair of shoes for a homeless man -- and who's become the Sully Sullenberger of shoe-givers -- was on the "Today" show a little while ago. And yes, he looks as decent as you imagine him to be.
Said DePrimo: "The two things that stuck out in my mind was how cold it was, and that this was the most polite gentleman I've ever met ..." Also on this interview was Jennifer Foster, the Phoenix tourist/shutterbug who said her dad was on the force in Phoenix for 32 years.
