'Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' heads to Scotland
Craig Ferguson -- who has a habit of taping his shows in his favorite places (Paris) -- is now taking "The Late Late Show" to Scotland for a week, becoming -- we can fairly confidently state -- the first U.S. late night show to originate from Scotland.
But, then of course, no U.S. late-night show has ever had a Scottish-born host either.
Per CBS:
"Ferguson will visit multiple locations across Scotland for episodes that will air during the week of Monday, May 14 (12:37 – 1:37 a.m. ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. This marks the second international trip for the show, following Le Late Late Show avec Craig Ferguson, which filmed in Paris and aired in August 2011."
Per Craig:
“With the statute of limitations finally expiring, it seemed like a great time to go back.”
Craig, born in Glasgow, had a wild, merry ol' time during his days as a stand-up and musician back in the old country.
