Lauren Alaina first into 'American Idol' final three

Haley Reinhart and Lauren Alaina oddly are singing "Gunpowder and Lead" on "American Idol" tonight. Lauren's worried about singing she's evil last night, but has no problems with this song?!
It just shows how superior Haley's voice and performance is to Lauren's, but neither are that great overall. Weird, weird song choice.
It's followed by the worst in-show commercial ever on the show. They use Windows 7 machines to talk to loved ones back home, the video quality is herky-jerky, audio is bad, too, circa dial-up modem.
I mean, in the age of Apple and broadcast-quality Skype, someone's going to pay for this experience?!
And now, they reveal the first person into the top three -- wow, Lauren Alaina! That's really surprising. You'd think they'd leave it to the end with her and Haley fighting it out for the last spot, but they didn't.
Maybe Scotty or James didn't make it?!
