Lauren Alaina same as always on 'American Idol'

Lauren Alaina is back to perform on "American Idol" -- I was never a huge fan, like Scotty McCreery, she pretty much did the same country thing each week last season.

They were both good at what they did, but I like best the competitors who grow, who get better and surprise themselves.

Her singing of "Georgia Peaches" is just a wall of sound that washes over me. Pleasant to listen to, but unmemorable.
