The baby-boomer television channel MeTV (Optimum Ch. 33) will air an eight-episode "Laverne & Shirley" marathon Sunday to memorialize the show's late star, Penny Marshall, who died Monday at age 75.

Six episodes are favorites that the actress-turned-director revealed in a 2015 interview with the cable network, while two are holiday-themed. The tribute will air from 2 through 6 p.m. Sunday with "Fakeout at the Stakeout," followed by "Bridal Shower," "Guinea Pigs," "Steppin' Out," "Airport '59," "Supermarket Sweep," "Christmas Eve at the Booby Hatch" and "Oh, Come All Ye Bums."

Cindy Williams starred as Shirley Feeney opposite Marshall's Laverne DeFazio in the 1950s-set spinoff of "Happy Days."
