Lazaro Arbos, who stutters, steals judges' hearts on 'American Idol'
Lazaro Arbos closes the Chicago auditions, has a really bad stutter. Originally from Cuba, his parents say when they got to the U.S. it got a lot worse; he says he had no friends at school.
His dad says that's probably why music is his entire life. Seems like a really decent kid, sincere; his occupation is listed as, "ice cream scooper."
Sings "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" -- it's amazing, no stutter at all. Slow and emotional; judges are just beaming listening to him.
"Just sing all the time," says Keith Urban. Randy Jackson loves his voice too. Nicki Minaj says "you brought a really great vibe into the room." He's crying listening to them praise him, and beaming at the same time.
Ah, what a great kid; looking forward to seeing more.
