Letterman: Bill Murray on tonight

  It's war!

  Bill Murray will be on "Late Show with David Letterman" tonight, and the rest of this week's lineup suggests he  doesn't just want to beat "Tonight" but swamp it.

  Jay, for example, has Sarah Palin on tomorrow night and Dave has Mitt Romney. Now, Sarah's a much bigger draw but I think even the Tea Partiers think he's a more viable presense of the 2012 ticket than she. Jay has the Olympics stars on all week. Are people just a little over the Olympics by now, though? 

  Murray is symbolic. He's been Dave's "first guest" for eons, and thus his presence tonight suggests that Dave is starting all over again. It's on. Dave versus Jay.

  Daveja vu all over again. 

  I'm sorry. That was  a terrible pun. I couldn't help myself though. The rest of the week...
