'SURVIVOR': MIAMI. David Samson, president of baseball's Miami Marlins, will be one of the 18 competitors on next month's "Survivor: Cagayan," according to Miami ABC affiliate WPLG.

'DANCING' WITH THE BABY. Professional dancers Edyta Sliwinska and husband Alec Mazo, who have both partnered celebrities on "Dancing With the Stars," have welcomed a son, Michael Alexander Mazo, People magazine reports. Sliwinska, 32, tweeted the baby's photo just days after his birth, writing, "Our bundle of joy, born on Jan 4th! We are in love and as happy as can be!!!"

PREMIERES. The special-effects makeup competition "Face Off" returns to Syfy for its sixth season Tuesday at 9 p.m. . . . "American Idol" welcomes new judge Harry Connick Jr. with season 13's two-night premiere Wednesday and Thursday at 8 p.m. each night . . . Tim Gunn of "Project Runway" gets his own fashion competition, Lifetime's "Under the Gunn," starting Thursday night at 9 . . . Opposite it on TLC, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" season three . . . At 10:30 that night, it's not "Candid Camera" but "Jerks with Cameras." Comic Tone Bell hosts the new MTV prank show featuring comedy troupe The Jerks . . . The former star of WE's "The Locator" returns with TNT's similar show about locating and reuniting people, "APB with Troy Dunn," Friday at 9 p.m. . . . and we're still "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" as season nine starts Sunday at 9 p.m. on E!, followed at 10 p.m. by the new "#RichKids of Beverly Hills."

RECAPS. Seth Aaron Henderson, who won "Project Runway" season seven, became the first returning champ to win "Project Runway All Stars" . . . Juan Pablo Galavis culled his first bachelorettes from "The Bachelor" . . . and Tumi Oguntala is off "The Biggest Loser."
