EVOCATEUR: THE MORTON DOWNEY JR. MOVIE
Documentary Shock jocks, radio ranters, "trash TV" -- they all owe a debt to syndication's late '80s shoutfest sensation, hosted in prime time by the big-mouthed, chain-smoking son of an old-time radio crooner. Downey roused his WWOR/9 Secaucus studio audience to rabid rabble during topical debates filled with yelling, shoving and chair-toppling. As the ratings rose, so did Downey's star -- until both fell in a spectacular tabloid scandal. Interviews describe the late Downey's drive, while high-decibel '80s clips frame the show's continuing influence.
Extras Filmmakers commentary, memorable moments montage, more.
 List price $27 DVD/$30 Blu-ray, from Magnolia
 Also:
AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM Last season's 13 episodes with Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, plus making-of featurettes, deleted scenes ("Coven" season starts on FX Wednesday at 10); $50 DVD/$60 Blu-ray, out today from Fox.
HANNIBAL NBC's returning chiller offers unaired episode, showrunner-star commentary, production backgrounders (menu planning!), more; $40 DVD or Blu-ray, Lionsgate.
IN THE FLESH Clever British miniseries of "rehabilitated" zombie-fied teen, trying to resume his "normal" life; $20, BBC.
CHINA BEACH: SEASON 1 Dana Delany stars as Vietnam War nurse in '80s award-winner, now getting season sets option (after complete series box); $23, Star-Vista.
