'DWTS:' Is Vote for the Worst saving Nancy Grace?

Come on, people -- and by "people" I mean fans of "Dancing with the Stars" who enthusiastically called in a vote for Nancy Grace after Monday's "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" stomp. Why, why, whhhyyy!!!???
Why did you vote for Nancy Grace? Last night David Arquette got the heave-ho when Nancy should have gotten the heave-ho. That would have been justice, and an aesthetically justifiable outcome to the Stomp Monday night, when Halloween seemed just a little more frightening during and afterward. She got the lowest score of the night, deserved the lowest score of the night, but was not ejected for the lowest score of the night.
Why? A theory: Votefortheworst.com, that troublemaking gremlin that takes great joy in keeping execrable contestants in the hunt has mounted a massive effort -- massive for it, anyway -- to keep Nancy clod-hopping for weeks to come.
"The devil continues to dance! Nice work, Worsters," it declared this morning. VFTW does have impact, and many -- myself included -- believed it kept Sanjaya Malakar on "American Idol" long after common sense and audience auditory tolerance dictated.
That's right, nice work, Worsters. But please . . . spare us further pain.
