'Nashville' gets full season

"Nashville" -- easily this season's most lavishly praised newcomer by the critical class — has a full-season order. ABC trotted out a bunch of numbers (see below — get out your calculators) in support of this order, but this simple fact remains: If “Nashville” hadn't received a full season then there pretty much wouldn't be any hope for network TV. The show is certainly a very good one but seemed to struggle initially. Nevertheless, it (apparently) tracks well with DVRs and the like.
Those numbers (and, by the way, “The Neighbors” also got a pickup earlier; and awaiting word on another newcomer, which appears to have a strong pulse, "666 Park"):
