NBC, which got a jump on the fall season by launching many of its newcomers early September, just handed out renewal notices to three of those, per reports: "Revolution," "Go On," and "The New Normal." No real surprise here, despite soft-ish numbers for "Normal,"  which has improved creatively (meaning, it's actually gotten funny in places) since launch. "Revolution" popped immediately out of the box, thanks to "The Voice" lead-in, and (probably) the J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke names on the book cover. Finally, "Go On," Good show, or certainly promising one, and Matthew Perry — if you can believe it — has his first full season series pickup since "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" (which went 22 episodes before flameout.)
