Nicki Minaj has some fun with Jennifer Lopez on 'American Idol'

Nicki Minaj is doing "Starships" next on "American Idol." The crowd is screaming as she bounces out. Hmm, wonder how many parents just turned the channel for their kids.

She, of course, puts on quite the show in her rainbow-covered bikini top and platinum hair. Not my cup of tea, but fun to watch. And she has a nice tone to her voice.

The crowd hasn't stopped screaming; she gives them a gracious, "thank you guys" at the end as Ryan Seacrest comes over to schmooze.

She tells him she'd love to come back as a guest judge, and jokingly asks Jennifer Lopez if she can "scoot over a little."

Lopez shoots back -- smilingly, of course, and wagging her finger -- "I don't know if there's enough room for both of us."
