On 'AI,' Lauren Alaina goes home, sees tornado damage

Nicole Scherzinger and 50 Cent are next on "American Idol" doing "Right There." It's actually a pretty catchy song and fun performance. It's beginning to feel like summer really is right about here.

Then, it's time for Lauren Alaina to go on home, to Chattanooga, Tenn. Same old scene. Lots of screaming teens, big reception at high school, motorcade.

Then she goes to look at some storm damage in  tornado-ravaged Ringgold, Ga. It's totally unbelievable how much wreckage there is. She's in tears. In Tennessee, they visited with a heroic boy who helped save his family. It's a pretty powerful moment.

She goes out to her parade and concert site and it's a huge turnout. Then she gets to throw at the first pitch at a game. She winds up and skies it high over the catcher.
