Oprah: Organic farmer?

Oprah -- like Garbo, just one name suffices -- conducted a nice and revealing interview with The Associated Press in which she says that if OWN doesn't work out, she'll become an organic farmer.

I love it! And it's not even April Fool's. 

"If this doesn't work out, I'm going to go into organic farming in Maui. And I'm not kidding."

We're on the eve of a big day for O: Her new show, "Oprah's Next Chapter," bows Sunday night (go here if  you want to read a bit more about that).

But in the AP chat, she actually sounds defiant -- no quitting OWN, and she says the thing was always supposed to take three to five years to get off the ground anyway. But, she does acknowledge a disappointment that it's been a monumental bust so far.
