Paris Tassin makes Jennifer Lopez cry on 'American Idol'

Tearful Paris Tassin is next on "American Idol." She says she got pregnant at 18 and has a special-needs child. She has the good looks and the intense conviction of someone who usually does well on this show.

Doing "Temporary Home," in a husky, powerful voice that you just have to listen to, it's pure country gold -- and pretty compelling. A bit off-key on the high notes, but the judges are all listening quietly.

Jennifer Lopez has tears rolling down her face and says "when you sang, I felt it." And Tassin's crying, too. Clearly singing for her daughter means a lot to her.

Afterward Lopez comes strolling out and sees Tassin and her baby, tells her "good luck" and gives her a hug. Nice, normal person moment.
