The CBS science fiction crime drama “Person of Interest” will be shooting an exploding vehicle scene Tuesday at Grumman Studios in Bethpage, officials said.

Police are advising the public it’s only a TV scene — and not anything of concern. The scene, and the explosion, is scheduled to take place sometime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., Nassau County acting Police Commissioner Thomas C. Krumpter said in a statement.

During filming police said a vehicle will explode, creating sound, smoke and flames that may be visible in Bethpage. It will be a one-time, single explosion.

Members of the Police Department’s Arson/Bomb Squad as well as the Nassau County fire marshal will be present during the filming, police said.
