Phillip Phillips told he sings 'nice,' 'good' and 'well' on 'American Idol'
Phillip Phillips sings The Zombies' "Time of the Season" as "American Idol" does British pop.
He's doing it slow and sexy, or he's "Phillipsing" it. Seems almost sedate; absolutely boring for me. There's nothing special here.
Certainly nothing to compare to Blake Lewis' wildly imaginative version in season six.
Randy Jackson calls it "relaxed and subdued," a "nice" performance. Jennifer Lopez thinks the words suit his style, "good job."
Steven Tyler says "you sang it well."
