Pure-voiced Jacee Badeaux, 15, best of 'American Idol' so far

Jacee Badeaux is next on "American Idol." He's just 15. There's a niceness in his face. I like him. He's chosen "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" for his audition.

Oh my God, this kid can sing! So sweet and pure, right on key, compelling and confident. 

"You are so sweet and so cute," says Jennifer Lopez, while Tyler notes "the sparkle in your eye."

Yeah, he's like a natural-born performer, so looking forward to seeing him again. He's my favorite so far this season. This is what this show is all about

Right before Badeaux was Alex Attardo, who I can't imagine can be good but apparently, he went to "Idol" camp. Does "Proud Mary." Well, he doesn't so much sing it as declare it.

Open laughter from the judges, "maybe we should cancel the camp," says Randy Jackson.

Steven Tyler just says you were way off-key. "Honestly, it was terrible," says Jackson.
