ISLAND CUISINE. Three Long Islanders are among the 16 contestants on "Worst Cooks in America" season three, premiering Sunday at 9 p.m. on Food Network. On the Red Team, under chef Anne Burrell, are mechanical engineer Anthony Schiano and DJ and dad Robert Tamke, both of Massapequa Park, and on the Blue Team, under chef Bobby Flay, is Erica Weidner of Long Beach.

MERCURY REPRISING? Reports that season-eight "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert is the new lead singer of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Queen are overblown, a rep for Lambert's record label told Rolling Stone. Lambert sang with Queen, whose frontman Freddie Mercury died in 1991, on the 2009 "Idol" finale and at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards. But a Hollywood Records rep, referring to a British newspaper's interview with Lambert, said, "The Daily Star item only mentions that Adam may perform with Queen at Sonisphere. This is not confirmed. Nothing has been signed."

PREMIERES. Heather Dubrow joins season seven of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" tomorrow at 9 p.m. . . . Travel Channel's new "Vegas Stripped," premieres with back-to-back episodes Wednesday at 10 and 10:30 p.m. . . . Thursday night on History brings season three of "Swamp People" (9 p.m.).
