Well, thank goodness someone is.
Tina Fey's amusing line last night at the SAG awards...
"And I just wanted to take a moment to say to everyone at NBC, we are very happy with everything. And, happy to be there. So, thank you."
She was one of the big winners, along with Alec Baldwin - both shared wins as best actor/actress comedy. Julianna Margulies and Michael C. Hall picked up the corresponding drama awards.
Best drama., or as they say at SAG "oustanding performance by an ensemble..." Come on! You can guess! (Hint: It's initials are "M" and "M.")
"Glee" had another great night - the big Mo is on a Big Roll: "Best ensemble in a comedy..."
Meanwhile, Betty White won the award for lifetime achievement - a prestigious hit for any actor or actress.
Said she: "Seventy-one years ago when I sang on an experiment[al] thing and it was called television, who would have dreamed it would culminate in an evening like this?
"... I look out at this audience and I see so many famous faces. But what really boggles my mind is that I actually know many of you. And I’ve worked with quite a few... maybe had a couple. And you know who you are."
And with that, we must bring down the curtain on a wonderful night...
