"Saturday Night Live" adds four newbies

 

 As expected, we've got four newcomers to this season of "Saturday Night Live."

  And before I forget: Amy Poehler, brilliant in "Parks &* Rec," will be the season opener host with Katy Perry as musical guest. 

  Now, back to the newbies.

 I'll provide the names, and then, straight to the clips, so you can get a sense of who they are. As reported in this space last week, Jay Pharoah - a very funny impressionist - has been added too.

 Vanessa Bayer... (She's from Second City; this is a funny commercial she did...)

 

Paul Brittain...check him out as "Jimmy, the overly touchy orderly; he appears a couple minutes into this "Scrubs" webisode...

 

 

Taran Killam...Here he is from a Groundlings performance...

Lastly, but far from leastly, Pharoah...who is almost certainly going to be world famous in a few weeks with his impressions of Prez Obama...
