Scotty McCreery remembers 9/11 on 'American Idol'

Scotty McCreery is next on "American Idol" with "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)," a great song pick for him and his audience. 

He sings it simply. Doesn't try to do anything fancy. Nothing you'll remember past tonight, but if you like Scotty, this is why.

Wish Simon Cowell was still on the panel. The song's lyrics are pretty parochial. He'd have pointed that out.
