The newest "Bachelorette," Ashley Hebert, may have found a blessing in disguise in March, when the controversial two-time "Bachelor" Brad Womack made her his second runner-up.
Starting Monday when the ABC reality show kicks off its seventh season, she's back in the game, hoping to find love among 25 eligible bachelors.
"I went into it kind of having, not low expectations, but . . . I didn't know what to expect," she said on a conference call Wednesday. "But after the guys walked out of the limo, I was blown away. At that point, I didn't know them that well, but physically, they were gorgeous to me and after getting to know them, I mean, I have some great guys."
What she was looking for, she said, is "someone [who] I really feel like I can trust, somebody that's really loyal and a family man."
The University of Pennsylvania dental student, 26, also noted she is "probably . . . 15 months behind with my [school] requirements" after having taken time off for the two reality shows. But, she says, "I'm going to be making up the time that I lost this summer. Then, I'll have my diploma and be ready to go."
