Viewers of Wednesday night's People's Choice Awards broadcast might have felt they were experiencing deja vu during the "The Talk" hosts' acceptance speech for favorite daytime TV hosting team.
As Sharon Osborne and co-hosts Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood accepted the award, a man clad in a red jacket walked onto the stage, snatched a microphone and attempted to speak.
Underwood quickly intervened with an "uh-uh" and a call for security, while host Osborne kicked him in the rear and gestured with her middle finger.
The ambushed winners laughed off the encounter, which was reminiscent of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when Kanye West stormed the stage and grabbed the mic as Taylor Swift accepted her award for best female video.
