'Southland' gets 5th season

"Southland," which didn't even survive a first season on NBC, suddenly has a fifth. (Yes, what a crazy mixed up ol' TV world.) TNT said it had ordered 10 episodes -- the same number as the fourth.
Per Michael Wright, president of programming for TBS, TNT and TCM: "We look forward to going deeper into the lives of Southland‘s extraordinary characters and the streets they struggle to keep safe next year."
