An intense short trailer for the final episode of Netflix‘s "Stranger Things" has arrived, giving a hint about what to expect Thursday night.

“I need you to fight one last time,” an emotional Jim Hopper (David Harbour) says to Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). “Life has been so unfair to you. Your childhood was taken from you. You've been attacked, manipulated by terrible people, but you never let it break you. Fight for the days on the other side of this. Fight for a world beyond Hawkins. Let's end this, kid."

The trailer then shows several flashbacks showing the indignities a younger Eleven experienced during the show's previous four seasons.

But there is one glimpse of the possible apocalypse to come: A shot of Dustin (Gaten Matatazzo) reacting to an approaching cloud of doom. "Mother of God," he screams.

The finale starts streaming Thursday at 8 p.m. and is also being shown in more than 600 theaters. All local shows are sold out.
