This is it: No Oscars...Yet

  I'm sorry to report that for whatever set of reasons...$$$$$...negotiations between Cablevision and Disney remain at an impasse.

  It is now 8 p.m.

  No Oscars. We have 25 minutes, but I'm not expecting anything.

  I do happen to have a feed from WTNH New Haven. It hasn't been blocked out on my system. I'll keep an eye on the Oscars and periodically update here with news, observations, and thoughts. 

  We call that "live blogging" in the trade.
