Tim Curry, the original Dr. Frank-n-Furter, is also in Fox’s remake of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” (as the Criminologist Narrator), which airs Thursday, Oct. 20. Here are five of Curry’s other notable TV credits:

WISEGUY (1989) In a memorable story arc set in the music business, Curry played corrupt music mogul Winston Newquay.

STEPHEN KING’S IT (1990) Curry starred in the miniseries adaptation of King’s bestseller as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

FISH POLICE (1992) In this bizarre animated series (essentially a Raymond Chandler-like noir set underwater and populated by fish), Curry voiced the character of a crooked attorney named Sharkster.

OVER THE TOP (1997) In this ABC series, which lasted but three weeks, Curry played a flamboyant British soap opera star who suddenly reappeared in the life of his hotel-owning ex-wife (very ex; they were married for 12 days, 20 years earlier).

FAMILY AFFAIR (2002-03) In the WB revival of “Family Affair,” Curry co-starred as the British gentleman’s gentleman Mr. French (played by Sebastian Cabot in the original 1966-71 series).
