'Today' tackles 'Vows' controversy

 Remember Carol Anne Riddell? Sure you do: She was on Ch. 4 as an anchor, and education reporter.  She is now the talk of the town - the big town. That one over there - with the tall buildings.

  (It's called New York.)

  She consented to be interviewed by the NY  Times well-read "Vows" column about the break-up of her marriage and subsequent remarriage. But it was all - how to put this delicately - rather tacky.

  Even more amazingly, this morning's edition of "Today" actually did a full story on it! (Yes, it's a slow news week - pre-Christmas.) Here's the clip...As we say in the trade, "must-watch."
