"Working with a partially torn ligament," he tweeted the next day. "Plan to be dancin' next week. Stand by (or rather, 'elevate your leg by. ..')," the Emmy Award-winning science educator joked. He posted an Instagram photo of himself in an examining room with a bandaged left leg and dance partner Tyne Stecklein. "We can confirm Bill Nye was injured during his performance last night and is currently seeking medical attention," an ABC representative told E! last week. "We will continue to keep you posted on his progress."
