'True-Blood' finale attracts 4 million viewers
HBO's vampire drama "True Blood" ended its seven-season run with the show's highest ratings this year. The ensemble series, centering on characters played by Anna Paquin and real-life husband Stephen Moyer, attracted 4 million viewers Sunday night, said The Hollywood Reporter, and added another 500,000 with an encore viewing. While down from its viewership high of 13 million in 2010, the magazine said, its season-to-date tally has averaged 9.4 million weekly thanks to encore, on-demand and HBO Go plays.
