IT TAKES A THIEF:THE COMPLETE SERIES

Series Robert Wagner brings old-Hollywood brio to this '60s romp as a con/thief enlisted by the government to steal for them in glamorous global locales. Its sleek escapism remains breezy fun -- but the scratchy video quality of these 66 "remastered" episodes can only charitably be called acceptable. Guest stars are great, though: Bette Davis, Joseph Cotten, Joey Heatherton, Susan Saint James and, especially, future "Hart to Hart" wife Stefanie Powers and Fred Astaire, recurring as Wagner's thieving dad.

Extras Fun half-hour interviews with star Wagner and writer-producer Glen Larson, plus feature-length re-edit of series pilot.

List price $200 (expect deep discounts) for 18 discs, booklet, film frame, more, in cool-looking cube box, out today from eOne.
