TV on DVD: 'Frank Sinatra Concert Collection'
FRANK SINATRA CONCERT COLLECTION
Programs Another superb box from Shout! Factory delivers 11 Sinatra TV specials, from 1965's elegant studio-set hour "A Man and His Music" to 1982's 90-minute "Concert for the Americas." The latter is new to DVD, as is 1985's rare Tokyo show "Sinatra in Japan," strong at age 69. Anyone who doubts the man's musical magic need only watch this set for 14 hours of sublime proof.
Extras An entire disc holds PBS' "Vintage Sinatra" look at his 1957 ABC series (with comments from progeny Nancy, Tina and Frank Jr.), plus 10 other songs from that show. Also, 1957's "Happy Holidays With Bing and Frank," a color-filmed, swingin' Christmas half-hour; 44-page booklet detailing these delights.
List price $80 for seven discs from Shout! Factory.
