Beverly Hills -- The "Dome" stays! Which may not be such good news to those trapped within its semipermeable barrier, but fans will be pleased nonetheless. "CBS This Morning" announced a second season for next summer. Not at all a surprise. Star Dean Norris has said in interviews that a second season would likely happen, and after CBS saw those opening night numbers (13 plus million) that word "likely" was struck. Plus, CBS has a unique second window deal with Amazon -- which means the cost is being shared. Even better.
Plus this: Stephen King, whose doorstop this hit is based upon, will write next summer's opener.

(By the way, Tassler is not at this summer's press tour; a close friend of hers passed away over the weekend, and she is attending the funeral today.)
