WABC's Scott Clark leaves today
Scott Clark - now there's a name we know so very well after so many years- is leaving. WABC's veteran sports anchor is officially stepping down tonight. Fishbowl New York posted this reminder a short while ago; it's a reminder because Clark did earlier announce his retirement from Ch. 7 over the summer. Clark's a solid and likeable broadcaster who has held down this job - ready for this? - since 1986. That is 25 years - a remarkable run at the same station, and especially remarkable given the enormous turnover in local TV. (Were Kaity Tong and Ernie A the anchors back then? Bill Beutel certainly was. Must check the clips.)
