For anyone who wondered how big a deal — or how promotable a deal — the forthcoming crossover between “The Walking Dead” and “Fear the Walking Dead” is about to become for both series, that was settled Thursday: AMC announced a special theatrical release for the pivotal episodes on April 15.

AMC said both will be screened back to back “commercial free” in 750 theaters around the country, starting at 8:30 p.m.

The actual crossover is the departure of original “TWD” castmember Lennie James (who plays Morgan Jones) for the prequel. Long Island theater locations are in Stony Brook, Glen Cove, Rockville Centre, Levittown, Huntington and Garden City. Tickets can be purchased beginning Friday at fathomevents.com/events/survival-sunday or participating theater box offices.
