Week One winner: CBS (probably)

Week One appears to belong to CBS, if you are counting total viewers. Final numbers from last night to come, but with "Amazing Race" back and "60 Minutes" too, I can't imagine a different outcome.

One big story: "Blue Bloods" is a winner.  Actor Tom Selleck is back.

Another big story: "CSI" topped "Grey's Anatomy" on Thursday.

New regular gig for Justin Bieber?

"The Mentalist" beat everyone on Thursday.

Even, gads, the horrifically bad "Stuff My Old Man Says." I'm on a campaign to get this beast a new name. It  might help although it had a solid start. It only lost a little of "Big Bang Theory's" audience. Next week will be the big test; clearly there was a lot of interest in this stinker.

"Outlaw?" Tanked in its regular Friday timeslot. Jimmy Smits' series is not long for this world.
