'Wheel of Fortune Live!' spinning into Patchogue

Buy a ticket to "Wheel of Fortune Live!" and you may earn a chance to buy a vowel.

"Wheel of Fortune Live!," a stage version of the popular TV game show, is coming back to Long Island, this time for a spin at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Oct. 6, the theater announced on Tuesday. At the event, contestants will be chosen from the audience, where they'll have a chance to spin the wheel, solve puzzles and win big prizes, including trips to Paris or Hawaii or up to $10,000 cash.

No word yet on who will be stepping into host Ryan Seacrest's shoes — or letter turner Vanna White's heels — only the promise that "a well-known host" is expected.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased by calling the box office at 631-207-1313 or visiting patchoguetheatre.org. Prices range from $57 for a ticket to $309 for a VIP package that also includes a meet and greet and photo op with the guest host, a spin of the wheel, a photo taken on the "Wheel of Fortune" set, a "Wheel" merchandise pack and a commemorative laminate.

The last time "Wheel of Fortune Live!" rolled onto Long Island was in October 2022 when it came to the Tilles Center in Brookville. The emcee for that edition was Mark L. Walberg, taking a break from his hosting duties on USA Network’s "Temptation Island" reality TV dating competition.
