Is film star Will Smith planning to produce a series revival of his 1990s sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"?
TVLine.com said Thursday Smith's production company, Overbrook Entertainment, is in the early stages of creating a pitch that the firm plans to shop around Hollywood sometime in the next few weeks.
Smith, 46, would not star in the series but serve as an executive producer.
In the 1990-96 NBC show, he played a street-wise Philadelphia youth sent to live with his rich California relatives in order to stay out of trouble.
