Dad enlists son's help to join The Challenge

Steve Ammirati is being a good son in the best way: His dad, Louis Ammirati of Patchogue, wanted to join this year's tomato challenge but needed some help.
He writes:
I am sending this email for my Dad, Louis Ammirati. He is very excited about how his tomato plants are growing. At this point of the season they are the largest they have ever been. When he saw the contest, he bugged me for a week to send in a picture so here it is.
I certainly can understand your dad's urgency, Steve. The Challenge is no small potatoes. Send in a picture of your dad and I'll post it here, too. See you both on August 27 at Newsday!
