A kid's guide to Great Neck shopping

Great Neck is a special town. We are fortunate to have so many amazing stores right here. So you can have the pleasure of shopping at some of these age-appropriate stores, I'm going to count down my list of the top five stores in Great Neck:

MUDDWORKS

6 Bond St.

It is a pottery-painting store. You can create pottery there, or buy already-painted pottery and jewelry. In addition, you can have your birthday party there. You will have a blast. (6 Bond St.)

FANTASTIC KIDS

50 Middle Neck Rd.

At this store, you can buy every type of toy you can imagine. They have everything, from a stuffed Hello Kitty, to life-size play baby strollers, to cool new scooters. You can go down the art aisle, the baby-doll aisle and the game aisle. It is a great place to buy a birthday present.

INFINITY CLOTHING

47 Middle Neck Rd.

It is my favorite clothing store. It sells all sorts of clothing, slippers, nail polish and a lot of other cool things. Boys won't find this so interesting.

POSTUR-LINE CHILDREN'S SHOES

58 Middle Neck Rd.

This is a shoe store where you can buy Uggs, Nikes and adidas, Hunter boots, Crocs, Converse, sandals, high heels, flats, loafers, slippers and flip-flops, as well as socks and stockings.

You can get all your favorite brands and so much more.

16 HANDLES

40 Middle Neck Rd.

Once you're done shopping, go for some delicious frozen yogurt.
