The Keith Romaine Memorial Skate Park is the first public skate park in the Town of Brookhaven. It is located on Francis Landau Place in Mastic Beach, across from William Floyd High School. The concrete park has lots of ramps and rails, such as hubba ledges, China banks, rainbow rails, and grind rails, so that you can practice doing tricks. They have benches for your parents and friends to sit on and watch you. They are open year-round unless it is wet or icy outside.

I recently went to the skate park with my younger sister, my friends and their siblings. Our ages ranged from 6 to 10 years old. You can skateboard, scooter or ride your bike at the park. We had so much fun riding around this “skate-of-the-art” park. It’s just another way of getting exercise in a fun environment away from traffic. It’s a safe place and just for having fun!
